It’s all about you, not me !

Still, if you are going to trust me with your wedding it’s best if you learn a little about me and why I think I’m pretty good at this…..

My name is Alan, I’m married (so I know just what it’s like) and have two lovely daughters – we all live together in sunny Montpelier in central Bristol where I run a very busy advertising photography business based in my studio here.

For more than twenty years I have been producing work for the most demanding clients in the UK and abroad.  Barclay’s Bank, Rolls-Royce, The British Museum, Bristol University, BAFTA, Volvo, Holiday Inn and Jaguar Landrover to name just a few – my work is regularly published in glossy magazines all over the world.  I am well used to coming up with great images under pressure in a relaxed and friendly manner – pretty much the same demands placed on Wedding Photographers.

Doing this high-end type of photography demands skills and facilities beyond the reach of most wedding photographers and I have had plenty of time to learn those skills and I have built up a huge range of state of the art photographic gear and, much more importantly, experience.

This editorial standard experience is what I am now bringing to Wedding Photography.

I aim to cover all the bases – relaxed and unobtrusive “reportage” but also capable of organising large formal groups should you need that done. My easygoing approach is underlaid with a great eye for the best shots of all the little details as well as those all-important emotional highlights. On wedding days I am working for you, flat-out.

I don’t charge by the hour and I’m pretty relaxed about timings – I prefer being with you for the whole of your wedding day from early preparations to the end of the evening. I do so for a price and quality that can’t be beaten. I don’t do huge markups on prints or albums (but I’m happy to organise them for you if you want). As standard, all your images will be delivered on a USB drive ready for you to use however you wish with no restrictions or additional costs, along with a secure private web gallery with downloadable images for you and your chosen guests to access.

I am fully insured, CRB checked and only use legal software and the latest highest resolution cameras and equipment.
